Planting is a Life Skill. To plant, within a city find a scarecrow with a small piece of land around it; you can find these outside of the city walls of cities, though still within the scene. One you have the life skill, click a scarecrow on untilled land and choose what you want to plant. Different cities allow you to plant different crops.

Early & Late Maturing

When selecting to plant at a scarecrow, players have two time choices: Early or late maturing. Late maturing crops produce more, though take longer. You will receive a system message when your crops are ready to harvest.

Early Maturing: 5 minutes for the crop to become harvestable. 5 minutes from crop being harvest-ready to disappearing.

Late Maturing: 70 minutes for the crop to become harvestable. 15 minutes from crop being harvest-ready to disappearing.
